Responsibilities
Lead strategic planning and roadmap development for payment modernization initiatives
Perform complex business and technical analysis for payment systems, with a focus on Wire Transfers, Fedwire, CHIPS, and SWIFT network integrations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements, map end-to-end processes, and design compliant payment solutions
Partner effectively with senior business and technology stakeholders across execution planning, system development, integrations, cutover planning, and post-implementation support
Analyze and document current-state and future-state workflows , identifying gaps and recommending improvements in payment processing, settlement, and reconciliation
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ISO 20022 , including message formats, validation rules, and exception handling
Lead rollout of new payment platforms and system upgrades, including migration planning, QA testing, and parallel/shadow runs
Liaise with technology, operations, and business teams to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless integration of new tools and platforms
Prepare and deliver clear documentation, including: Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, Process Flow Diagrams, Training and Knowledge-Transfer Materials
Work within an Agile SDLC , providing strong technical analysis and business stakeholder management
Qualification
Required
Strong expertise in payment systems and payment modernization
Hands-on experience with Fedwire, CHIPS, SWIFT, and wire transfer processing
In-depth knowledge of ISO 20022 standards
Experience working in Agile environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to bridge business and technology teams
