Responsibilities
Taking end-to-end ownership of key backend services and AI-driven applications that power a modern microservice ecosystem
Designing, building, and operating scalable, resilient, event-driven systems using Python, FastAPI, GraphQL, Kafka, and related technologies
Integrating and developing fundamental LLM agents and RAG/agentic workflows that deliver real product value
Working closely with DevOps to improve deployment, monitoring, and reliability
Owning vector search and embeddings pipelines from schema design through benchmarking and optimization
Mentoring and guiding other engineers, driving best practices through code reviews and technical leadership
Collaborating across product and engineering teams to define requirements, iterate features, and represent the architecture to stakeholders
Qualification
Required
7+ years of backend development experience with strong Python expertise in production environments
Proven ability designing and shipping production-quality ML and AI systems, including RAG, agentic workflows, and LLM services
Deep experience with async Python, microservices, GraphQL, message queues, and distributed systems
Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and database modelling at scale
Familiarity with containerization, cloud infrastructure, and reliability tooling (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic, product-focused approach to technical decision-making
Preferred
Experience with LangChain, vector databases, and tracing/evaluation tooling a strong plus
