Providence is a healthcare organization seeking a highly organized and self-directed Research Coordinator to provide comprehensive research and administrative support for active studies. The role involves coordinating research activities, collaborating with investigators, and supporting financial performance in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Independently coordinate research and administrative activities in support of assigned research studies
Collaborate closely with study investigators and supervisors to identify and resolve study-related issues
Provide backup coverage for other Research Coordinators as needed
Support departmental financial performance through budgeting, billing, and related activities as directed
Develop specialized research instruments and assist with the preparation of scientific manuscripts and presentations, as applicable
Train other Research Coordinators in the proper conduct of research studies and participate in quality control activities as assigned
Demonstrate a high level of productivity and independence consistent with advanced research coordination responsibilities

Research CoordinationSupervisory ExperienceClinical Research CertificationBudgetingCollaboration Skills

Required

Bachelor's Degree: Preferably in science, healthcare, or other related field --or-- Significant experience in a supervisory capacity
7 years of experience in related area

Preferred

Upon hire: Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or similar professional research certification
