3+ years expTalent Bridge is seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to support and guide site management and employees in reducing risk and strengthening H&S competencies across the organization. The role involves providing day-to-day guidance to promote a strong safety culture and achieve zero accidents and occupational illnesses.

Responsibilities
Provide H&S guidance and support to site management and supervisors, aligning with the company’s safety strategy and site priorities
Support the implementation of long-term site and regional H&S initiatives
Collaborate with the H&S team to propose, communicate, and implement safety programs
Track and report site safety performance through relevant KPIs
Assist with incident investigations and provide guidance on improving workplace safety
Participate in safety audits and regulatory inspections, supporting compliance with MSHA, OSHA, DOT, and other applicable regulations
Work with hygiene and site leadership teams to monitor exposure to hazards such as noise, vibration, dust, and chemical agents
Benchmark and implement best practices from other sites and companies
Promote a culture of safety through active communication and modeling of safe behaviors
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or 3 years of equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant H&S experience, with exposure to MSHA, OSHA, or DOT regulations preferred
Experience developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, G-Drive)
Strong understanding of H&S principles, policies, and federal/state regulations
Preferred
Field of study preferred: Engineering, Chemistry, Occupational Health & Safety, HSE
Experience with management systems and continuous improvement cycles such as ISO 9000, ISO 14000, or OHSAS 18000 preferred
Knowledge of document management software preferred
