Responsibilities
Lead and support an experienced payroll team
Manage multi-state payroll across both union and non-union employee groups
Ensure payroll is accurate, compliant, and aligned with wage and hour laws and union agreements
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve systems
Partner with HR, Finance, and Operations to support the business
Stay audit-ready and support internal and external reviews as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience
5+ years of multi-state payroll experience (union experience strongly preferred)
Prior experience leading or mentoring others
Strong understanding of complex pay rules and compliance requirements
Experience working with enterprise payroll or HR systems
Comfortable digging into payroll data and finding ways to improve how things run
Preferred
CPP certification a plus
