Responsibilities
Lead and manage bridge and structural projects from design through construction
Provide component design on complex projects; direct designs on less complex projects
Prepare project specifications, permit applications, and cost estimates
Assist with quality reviews and manage project budgets and schedules
Coordinate with clients and respond to project needs
Support proposal and presentation preparation
Mentor and assess technical skills of junior engineers
Qualification
Required
BS in Civil Engineering
PE
10+ years of bridge and structural design experience
Project management experience required
Experience with bridges, retaining walls, levees, culverts, pump stations, and other civil/structural projects
Technical software knowledge: RISA, AASHTOWare, AutoCAD, MicroStation, MS Office
Preferred
MS in Civil Engineering
Familiarity with DOT standards and consulting environment preferred
