Responsibilities
Drive actionable insights and inform corporate strategies through the use of analytics, GenAI, advanced modeling, data mining, and market intelligence
Demonstrate strong communication skills with a basic understanding of project management principles
Share updates with team members and manager clearly and concisely, with flexibility in discussions around project scope and deliverables
Visualize data effectively to support clear insights and decision-making
Leverage data and statistical modeling to identify, create, and solve business opportunities
Utilize GenAI and machine learning techniques to identify, create, and solve business opportunities
Work with data using programming languages (SQL, Python) and have a solid understanding of relational data and data tools
Write production-ready code in Python that is modular, efficient, and well-documented
Develop dashboards using Python-based tools, with PowerBI experience preferred
Learn and own project workstreams with a GenAI/Data Science focus to positively impact business outcomes
Possess an inquisitive mindset and a desire to delve into the details while maintaining a focus on business impact and practical solutions
Collaborate within projects and cross-functional teams to achieve targeted outcomes and drive shared success
Qualification
Required
Strong Communication: Demonstrates strong communication skills with a basic understanding of project management principles. Ability to share updates with team members and manager clearly and concisely, with flexibility in discussions around project scope and deliverables
Data Visualization: Ability to visualize data effectively to support clear insights and decision-making
Analysis: Proficiency in leveraging data and statistical modeling to identify, create, and solve business opportunities
GenAI and Machine Learning: Some proficiency in GenAI and machine learning techniques to identify, create, and solve business opportunities. Shows a strong desire to build foundational skills first and demonstrates flexibility in selecting appropriate methods
Technical Data Proficiency: Ability to work with data using programming languages (SQL, Python) and a solid understanding of relational data and data tools
Coding Skills: Demonstrates the ability to write production-ready code in Python that is modular, efficient, and well-documented
Project Drive: Demonstrates a desire to learn and own project workstreams with a GenAI/Data Science focus to positively impact business outcomes
Inquisitive Mindset: Possesses an inquisitive mindset and a desire to delve into the details while maintaining a focus on business impact and practical solutions

Master's degree or higher in data science related areas (statistics, applied economics, data science)
Preferred
Experience developing dashboards preferred with Python-based tools (PowerBI experience is a plus)
2+ years of professional analytical experience preferred
2+ years of P&C or Life/Retirement experience preferred
