Sr Business Analyst, Wealth

The Sr Business Analyst plays a key role in understanding business needs and translating them into functional solutions while collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business needs, objectives, and requirements
Analyze and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications
Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and brainstorming sessions to elicit requirements and gather necessary information
Perform gap analysis to identify areas where current processes or systems fall short of meeting business needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and recommend process improvements, system enhancements, and strategic initiatives
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of business requirements, use cases, and user stories
Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis for proposed solutions
Work closely with development teams and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects
Participate in system testing and support user acceptance testing activities
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for business systems and applications
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to business analysis
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to facilitate effective communication and understanding
Assist in training and knowledge transfer to end-users and stakeholders on new systems and processes
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
Proficiency in business analysis techniques, tools, and methodologies
Familiarity with software development lifecycles and project management methodologies
Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into functional requirements
Strong documentation and technical writing skills
Proficiency in using business analysis software and tools
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools is desirable
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
5+ years of work experience in business analysis, or a similar role
Preferred
Broker Dealer products, operations and wealth solutions knowledge
