Responsibilities
Manage and review complex tax compliance and planning engagements for high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely held businesses
Provide technical leadership on individual, trust, gift, and estate tax matters
Advise clients on pass-through entity taxation, including partnerships and S corporations
Support tax planning related to liquidity events, business transitions, and wealth transfer strategies
Serve as a primary point of contact for PCS clients and advisors (attorneys, investment advisors, family offices)
Identify planning opportunities related to SALT, entity structuring, and income tax optimization
Lead, mentor, and develop Managers, Seniors, and Associates within the PCS practice
Oversee engagement timelines, staffing, and quality control
Support business development efforts through client expansion and referrals
Qualification
Required
8–12+ years of public accounting tax experience with a focus on Private Client Services
Strong background serving high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely held businesses
CPA required
Experience with individual, fiduciary, gift, and estate tax compliance and planning
Strong technical and consultative skills with the ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly
Proven leadership and team management experience
Preferred
Familiarity with Texas and multi-state tax considerations
