Responsibilities
Own, manage, and monitor Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines ingesting data from multiple loan and financial systems into a centralized data warehouse
Design, support, and optimize ETL / ELT pipelines, including ingestion, transformation, validation, and loading across Development, Test, and Production environments
Ensure pipelines are highly reliable and performant, with proper retry logic, logging, alerting, and failure recovery
Proactively identify and resolve data pipeline failures, latency issues, and data anomalies
Maintain and optimize Azure-based data warehouse structures (Azure SQL, Synapse, or similar), including fact and dimension tables used for financial, loan, and portfolio reporting
Implement data quality controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of loan balances, payments, cash flows, and portfolio metrics
Manage schema changes, historical data handling, incremental loads, and reconciliation processes
Support and optimize Power BI datasets, semantic models, and refresh schedules used by finance, treasury, and executive teams
Partner closely with finance, treasury, and analytics stakeholders to deliver trusted, production-ready datasets for monthly and quarterly reporting
Tune Power BI performance for large, complex financial models
Ensure data lineage, auditability, and integrity across all enterprise data flows
Enforce standards for naming conventions, documentation, version control, and deployment discipline
Support data governance initiatives, including access controls, role-based visibility, and compliance-aligned data handling
Monitor production pipelines and resolve issues before they impact reporting deadlines
Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and treasury teams on new reporting requirements and system enhancements
Participate in release management and production deployments related to data changes
Qualification
Required
4+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, including pipeline orchestration, triggers, monitoring, and troubleshooting in a lending, banking, or loan management environment
Strong SQL expertise, including complex joins, aggregations, performance tuning, and data validation
Hands-on experience managing Azure data warehouses (Azure SQL, .NET, Synapse Analytics, or equivalent)
Experience supporting Power BI datasets and data models in a production environment
Solid understanding of ETL / ELT best practices, data quality frameworks, and operational data support
Experience working with Dev / Test / Prod environment separation and controlled deployments with .NET, Power BI, Python, and R
Exposure to data governance, lineage tracking, and compliance-driven reporting
Experience supporting monthly close, portfolio reporting, treasury, or securitization analytics
Comfort working in a remote, offshore, or distributed team environment
