Responsibilities
Contribute to designing, developing, and validating sophisticated avionics systems involving hardware, software, and network elements
Support execution of complex engineering programs, ensuring deliverables meet performance and quality expectations
Apply and uphold security best practices and compliance requirements to protect critical data and systems
Develop and integrate core aircraft state monitoring functions and system synoptics for the next‑generation avionics platform
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience in systems engineering, including architecture, system integration, implementation, and troubleshooting
Hands‑on experience with engineering tools and technologies used in system development
Proficiency in model‑based systems engineering
Must meet U.S. person requirements under applicable export regulations (citizen, permanent resident, protected status, or eligible for authorization)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline
Background in leading large-scale system integration efforts
Experience with Simulink
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Strong knowledge of industry standards and emerging technologies
Experience working with aircraft sensors (air data, GPS, AHRS)
Familiarity with aircraft subsystem integration (e.g., flaps, landing gear, cabin pressure, FADEC)
Understanding of software development lifecycle standards (DO‑178C preferred)
Demonstrated passion for innovation and continuous improvement
