Responsibilities
Manage litigation files from inception through resolution, including trial preparation
Draft and file pleadings, respond to discovery, and support motion practice
Order and track medical records; coordinate expert review and disclosures
Prepare arbitration and trial materials, including jury instructions when applicable
Handle e-filing in Nevada Courts
Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely service and compliance
Collaborate with attorneys and other paralegals to maintain organized, high-quality case files
Participate in monthly in-person team luncheons/meetings
Qualification
Required
Will consider, in lieu of certificate, highly qualified, experienced Paralegals with a minimum of 5 years recent Paralegal experience in insurance defense
ABA approved Paralegal Certificate with a minimum of 2 years experience in civil litigation
Experience managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced legal environment
Familiarity with legal procedures, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court filings
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence
