The role involves leading financial due diligence engagements, preparing analyses, and translating findings into insights for clients in M&A transactions.

Responsibilities

Lead financial due diligence engagements for buy-side and sell-side transactions
Prepare and review Quality of Earnings (QoE), net working capital, and cash flow analyses
Analyze historical financial statements to identify normalized EBITDA, trends, and key adjustments
Assess revenue recognition, margin sustainability, customer concentration, and cost structure
Evaluate working capital drivers and support purchase price and closing mechanism discussions
Translate financial findings into clear, decision-ready insights for investors and management teams
Manage multiple concurrent engagements, including timelines, staffing, and deliverables
Act as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the diligence process
Review work performed by Senior Associates and Associates; provide coaching and technical guidance
Collaborate with tax, accounting, and M&A advisory teams as needed

Required

6–9+ years of experience in Transaction Advisory Services / Financial Due Diligence
Strong hands-on experience performing QoE analyses for middle-market transactions
Public accounting background; Big 4 or national/regional firm experience preferred
CPA strongly preferred (or in progress)
Advanced financial analysis and Excel modeling skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial matters clearly
Experience supporting private equity and strategic buyer transactions
Ability to perform in deadline-driven, deal-oriented environments

Preferred

Public accounting background; Big 4 or national/regional firm experience preferred
CPA strongly preferred (or in progress)
