Responsibilities

Driving customer prioritization and customer engagement leadership with JTI category message based on facts (research insights) and data to protect and build the tobacco category in travel retail
Responsible for developing JTI brands' portfolio strategies and propositions for South America, Europe, and North America adult consumers across GTR markets
Responsible for portfolio and pricing strategies development, consumer/trade marketing, and merchandising program to achieve the GTR showcasing mission of the markets cluster assigned
Responsible for developing the field force of his region to ensure succession plan and talent development
Responsible to deliver markets cluster P&L and KPIs (SOM, w/o targets, Marketing Budget, etc.)
Based on retail universe and customer base data, the incumbent will decide on customer prioritization based on GTR channel and outlet segmentation, develop customer/ outlet coverage based on the defined prioritization, ensure effective and efficient agent/ distributor/ third party partners in place for efficient supply chain where deem as a requirement, and ensure sufficient resources to deliver on showcasing and commercial objectives
Lead the team to develop a Customer Relationship Management plan (CRM) to ensure a structured event-based calendar of engagement with key customers to achieve the objective of Building JTI brand equity, drive relationship longevity, and recognition that JTI has a category leadership vision. The final result is lasting customer affinity with JTI (top of mind)
Drive the development and implementation of ambitious Account Plans with respective team members for local/regional and international key accounts to achieve showcasing and commercial objectives, with a specific focus on portfolio & pricing strategy development, shelf space management, merchandising, planogram development, and executional excellence for brand activation activities
Lead and drive the sales team in developing an ambitious ASP plan aligned with the account plan roll-up, in coordination with the Regional Sales Director. Coordinate timely LE updates (incl. marketing budget) with Marketing Activation and Finance for submission. Responsible for the implementation and achievement of the Sales and Trade Marketing ASP plan
Supervise and ensure timely collection of TME, TM1, and Forecasting Cycles data for business management, e.g., retail audits, surveys, and JTI sales volume coordination. Use data to drive collaborative forecasting to achieve forecasting accuracy objectives and order fulfillment objectives. Drive resolution to supply chain opportunities with internal and external parties. With research and data insights, develop a customer engagement message/ presentation suitable for the targeted customer to protect and build the tobacco category. Drive trade engagement with team members to secure a long-term partnership and recognition of JTI's category leadership
Lead the team to drive category management solutions based on GTR principles in proposing category space and position for the tobacco category, brand allocation based on consumer segmentation, and program development centered around consumer behavior, e.g., buy for gift, buy regular brand, etc
Based on the evolution and performance of North America and Caribbean domestic JTI brands, develop and define JTI Brands' strategic portfolio proposal for GTR markets, and ensure execution excellence for the markets assigned

Required

University degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or Management (MBA preferred)
5–7 years' experience in a Sales & Marketing management role within FMCG
Fluent English and Spanish (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
Strong computer literacy; experience with TME, TM1, SAP, MS Teams, and Power BI is an advantage
Strong communication, people management, and decision-making skills
Solid commercial acumen (brand/portfolio management, pricing)
Ability to manage field operations (territory planning, field force management, KPI tracking)
Strong stakeholder management, relationship building, and negotiation
