Responsibilities
Develop interactive utilities and batch processes using REXX, TSO, ISPF, DB2, and JCL
Maintain and enhance in-house automation solutions
Provide technical support for vendor applications (e.g., JCK, InfoMan)
Conduct Proof of Concept evaluations for new tools and technologies
Identify automation opportunities across departments and implement solutions
Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver utilities or batch processes
Respond to and resolve customer requests promptly
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience with z/OS, including BMC MainView AutoOperator/CSM, Broadcom OPS/MVS, TSO, ISPF, and Microsoft Office
5+ years of hands-on experience with REXX, TSO commands, ISPF Dialog Tag Language, DB2, JCL, and SAS/WPS
5+ years working with scheduling and development tools such as CA7, Control-M, Endevor, IDz, ADDI
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Knowledge of z/VM, IBM z Virtualization, and z/OS UNIX shell (OMVS)
Familiarity with Visual Studio, Mainframe DevOps concepts, and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Ansible, Linux, Kubernetes, containerization, and automation frameworks
Proficiency in GitLab, shell scripting, or Python
Proven ability to lead project teams, especially on large-scale modernization initiatives
