Responsibilities
Introductory meetings to get familiar with various departments across the organization
Coffee chats with leaders and various other employees across the company
The ability to be a part of all companywide initiatives including our June Coverys Quarterly Conversation, DE&I Town Halls, and Employee Resource Group meetings
Actuarial Reserving: Help automate and speed up repetitive processes; work in Excess (including VBA), SSMS (via SQL), and ResQ
Claims: Assist with data quality review of the weekly opening report and monthly data quality reports; update State Claim Information Sheets; revise SharePoint, analyze trial data, update NetCore claims files, and organize coverage opinion database
Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management: Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Vendor Risk Management function; review existing vendor relationships for completeness of required information and respond to business partner inquiries
Corporate Communications and Coverys Community Healthcare Foundation: Provide grant management support, relevant data for grant reporting and public relations materials, and monitor/manage the Foundation’s social media platforms
Data Engineering: Work with Data Warehouse developers and Data Analysts on data pipelines and workflows; assist in coding and debugging efforts, data quality checks, and documentation
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Assist with ongoing DE&I initiatives such as Employee Resource Group meetings and Townhalls; draft resources and content for the DE&I SharePoint page
Investments: Collaborate with the Chief Investment Officer and the Investment Director to understand investment strategies; assist with data aggregation and research
Legal: Assist the Legal Department with research related to legal matters, maintaining and updating the contract inventory, and shadowing attorneys
Social Media Marketing: Assist the marketing team in scheduling educational content and company announcements; manage and post content on social media platforms
Risk Management Clinical Analytics: Assist with data pulls using data tools; help with risk management dashboard building and modifications; collaborate with other departments to present data
Technical Support: Provide technical support to end-users; troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; document issues, solutions, and procedures
Qualification
Required
