Responsibilities
Develop a PHY architectural model in SystemC or other languages
Implement and validate PHY calibration, adaptation, and training algorithms
Conduct scripting, data collection, and analysis
Run system simulations and correlate with silicon results
Qualification
Required
Experienced PHY system modeling engineer
Hands-on with firmware development and post-silicon activities
Ability to develop a PHY architectural model in SystemC or other languages
Exceptional firmware skills with proven ability to implement and validate PHY calibration, adaptation, and training algorithms
Ability to run system simulations and correlate with silicon results
Strong debugging skills
Preferred
Strong PHY experience with SerDes/DDR background
Strong coding skills in C, SystemC, Matlab, System Verilog and Python
Familiarity with signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI)
