Responsibilities
Coordinate comprehensive manual and automated testing in our projects to ensure the quality and functionality of PSI Metals’ software applications
Ensure the development, documentation, and execution of detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts tailored to our production management solutions and utilize the existing testing tools as well as investigating new ones
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using Jira or other defect tracking tools
Work closely with project managers, product management, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design comprehensive test strategies, and improve testing processes
Organize the use of automated testing using relevant technologies in projects
Ensure software meets all quality standards and project requirements prior to release
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in software testing and testing coordination
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development/Engineering, or other technical field
Experience in automated testing tools
Genuine passion for testing and commitment to continuous improvement in quality assurance practices
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SLDC)
Ability to work in the United States
Driven, independent worker that can easily adapt to new and existing projects
Ability to proactively coordinate/communicate with project managers to ensure projects are utilizing appropriate PSI Metals' test methodologies
An effective team player that is comfortable working on multiple projects at once
Articulate and professional individual with effective customer-facing skills
A well-managed individual with time management and organization skills
Willing to travel domestically and internationally for projects and meetings
Preferred
Experience with Steel/Metals industry and related industries
