Arte by Crypto Oasis is focused on creating a community hub for Web3 and technology. They are seeking a DeFi Algorithmic Trader to develop and execute automated trading strategies within decentralized finance ecosystems, supporting their initiatives in art and technology.

Responsibilities
Develop algorithmic strategies: create, backtest, and deploy trading bots for DeFi opportunities like yield farming, flash loans, arbitrage across AMMs (Uniswap, Balancer), and NFT marketplaces
On-chain execution: automate trades using smart contracts, APIs from protocols (Aave, Compound, Pendle), and tools like Web3.py or Ethers.js; integrate with community-focused assets (tokenized art, creator funds)
Risk management: implement controls for impermanent loss, liquidation risks, gas optimization, and protocol exploits; monitor positions in real-time with alerts and dashboards
Data analysis and modeling: analyze on-chain metrics (TVL, APY, volume) using tools like Dune Analytics, Nansen, or Python/SQL; forecast trends and simulate scenarios for community investment strategies
Collaboration and advisory: work with Web3 teams to align trading with art/tech projects (e.g., NFT liquidity pools); provide insights for community events, partnerships, and token launches
Performance optimization: track ROI, Sharpe ratio, and drawdowns; refine algorithms based on backtesting and live results to enhance community value
Stay ahead: research emerging DeFi trends, Layer 2 solutions, and regulatory changes to adapt strategies for sustainable growth in Web3 art/technology ecosystems
Qualification
Required
3–6+ years of experience in algorithmic trading, quantitative finance, or DeFi/Web3 roles (e.g., at funds, exchanges, or protocols); proven track record of profitable strategies in crypto markets
Strong programming skills: proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Backtrader), Solidity basics, or Rust for on-chain bots; experience with APIs and web3 libraries
Deep DeFi knowledge: hands-on with protocols, tokenomics, arbitrage mechanics, and risk models; familiarity with NFTs/RWA in art/tech contexts preferred
Analytical expertise: advanced in data science, statistical modeling, machine learning for trading signals; tools like SQL, Jupyter, or TensorFlow a plus
Risk-aware mindset: understanding of crypto volatility, smart contract security, and global regulations (SEC, MiCA)
Bachelor's/Master's in Quantitative Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (preferred); crypto-native passion with active trading portfolio required
Excellent problem-solving and communication; ability to thrive in a fully remote, collaborative Web3 environment
Preferred
familiarity with NFTs/RWA in art/tech contexts preferred
