Mid LevelThe Diocese of Winona-Rochester is seeking a Controller to manage accounting operations for the Diocese and the Pension Plan for Priests. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and responsible stewardship of Church resources in support of the Diocese’s mission.

Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting activities for the Diocese and Pension Plan
Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
Review and assign appropriate account coding
Maintain subsidiary ledgers and documentation
Monitor cash flow and banking activities
Prepare monthly financial statements
Lead annual budgeting and ongoing review
Coordinate external audits
Process payroll and required reports
Reconcile bank accounts monthly
Support Pastoral Center operations as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
Preferred
CPA certification and/or MBA
