Legal Assistant - Litigation
Quarles & Brady LLP is seeking an enthusiastic professional Legal Assistant to join their San Diego office. The role involves supporting attorneys in case management, preparing legal documents, and maintaining confidential information.
Law Practice
Responsibilities
Support attorneys in connection with all aspects of case management
Assist attorneys in preparing, proofreading, revising and finalizing legal documents
E-Filing in state, federal and appellate courts
Maintain confidential information, files, records, legal documents and reports
Submit intake and conflicts checks, process time entry and client billing
Maintain attorneys' calendars, schedule travel, appointments, meetings and conferences
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of two years of civil or labor & employment litigation law experience
California specific experience required
Possess a positive attitude, be proactive, flexible and a team player
Advanced Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Professional
Skilled with use of electronic document management systems including exceptional knowledge of local rules and procedures for filing in both California and Federal courts and e-filing, including calendaring
Possess strong organizational, communication and client services abilities
Excellent writing, proofreading skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize needs based on urgency, multi-task and work in a fast-paced team-orientated environment
Ability to work overtime, when needed
Preferred
