Responsibilities
Assist with preparing financial statements and management reporting for public filings
Support the development of quarterly and annual SEC disclosures
Conduct research on complex accounting matters; analyze new and proposed standards from the SEC and FASB, and prepare technical memos outlining impacts to the company
Help coordinate and maintain SOX compliance efforts across the organization
Participate in special projects as assigned
Contribute to the review of quarterly earnings materials
Manage additional financial reporting deliverables as required
Oversee select general ledger responsibilities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and related SOX controls
Provide financial and analytical insights to support business decisions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
4+ years of broad accounting experience, including at least one year supporting SEC reporting for a public company (10‑K and 10‑Q preparation), or an equivalent combination of experience and education
Strong understanding of US GAAP
Ability to research and draft documentation for technical accounting issues
Proven capability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on collaboration
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines
Preferred
CPA certification
Experience in a top-tier public accounting firm and/or public company SEC reporting
Entertainment industry experience
