Water Resources Engineer Principal
The City of Scottsdale is seeking a Water Resources Engineer Principal responsible for expert technical engineering review and analysis of water and sewer related development projects. This role involves regulatory assessments and communication between the Water Resources Division and various stakeholders.

Perform regulatory assessments
Perform liaison/communication responsibilities between the Water Resources Division and the general public, outside agencies and other City Departments
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related Physical Science, including Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Environmental Sciences or Physics from an accredited educational institution
Seven years' professional level experience in one or more of the above areas
Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license with no major citations within the past 39 months prior to the start date
Obtain and maintain upon hire or promotion, Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) by the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration, OR by the technical board in another state, with the ability to obtain Arizona Registration within six months of hire or promotion
Every person employed by the City of Scottsdale shall reside in the State of Arizona during his or her active employment by the City, regardless of whether the employee is approved to remote work
