Project and Planning Analyst - State Program Administrator

The Project and Planning Analyst will support the Agency Projects and Planning Division by conducting research, reviewing policies, performing data analysis, and assisting in project management to enhance the agency's efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Review and edit policies, procedures and standards, recommend changes, and assist in consolidating information, ensuring adherence to compliance requirements and presenting it in a meaningful way
Develop expertise in existing and new technologies (M365 applications, BWL, Smartsheet etc.) and features on agency wide applications, support user adoption and roll out, enhance user experience, and address barriers to user adoption
Review and analyze large and ongoing reports and apply information into work being done on the public health infrastructure
Assist and provide input and insights to enhance efficiency and effectiveness on requests received from partners withing the agency
Assist with projects and lead small to medium sized projects to improve efficiency and engagement service (such as support in building communities or practice, provide suggestions on building equitable processes and procedures, template and training)
Perform support functions as directed by supervisor including review, filing and records managements and assist in editing documents
Research issues so that the agency is provided with information and data to support its programmatic goals and functions

Required

At least 12 months of experience researching, reviewing or editing policies, performing data entry, data management, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, program evaluation or development of materials
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
Ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions
Ability to plan and organize workload efficiently and effectively to meet required deadlines
Ability to implement unexpected changes in priorities with minimal difficulty
Ability to work independently for long periods of time, and to be self-motivated

Preferred

Experience using M365 applications, BWL or Smartsheet
Experience reviewing and analyzing large reports
Knowledge of, or experience with Public Health
Project Management Experience
