Responsibilities
Develop and refine AI training datasets using deep accounting expertise with a focus on GAAP compliance
Create clear rubrics and evaluation criteria to assess AI performance in accounting and finance workflows
Review, validate, and provide structured feedback on AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy and compliance
Document accounting processes, edge cases, and decision logic to strengthen AI model behavior
Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to identify gaps and improvement opportunities in AI accounting systems
Participate in cross-functional knowledge-sharing sessions to align accounting practices with AI development
Stay current with changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and accounting software to inform ongoing training
Qualification
Required
Proven professional experience in accounting with strong knowledge of GAAP, tax preparation, and compliance
Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing tax filings and regulatory documentation
Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or equivalent platforms
Experience managing general ledgers, reconciliations, and financial statements
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining accounting concepts clearly
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment
