Responsibilities
Prepare for trials through case strategy discussions, discovery planning, and client interviews
Conduct legal research and factual investigations involving businesses, individuals, and worksites
Draft pleadings, briefs, memoranda, and client updates
Manage discovery, document review, and motion practice
Attend and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court proceedings
Assist with settlement negotiations and dispute resolution
Maintain organized case files and litigation strategy timelines
Collaborate with partners and clients to develop practical legal solutions
Qualification
Required
3–7 years of experience as a Commercial Litigation Associate or General Litigation Attorney
Active Texas Bar license required
Strong legal writing, analytical, and research skills
Ability to manage multiple litigation matters simultaneously
Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
Proactive, solution-oriented approach to legal challenges
Preferred
Trial or deposition experience
Background in business, construction, banking, or financial litigation
Law review, moot court, or similar advocacy experience
Experience working within a collaborative litigation team
