Information Technology
Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, and pancreas
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including EGD, colonoscopy, and ERCP
Interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory results, and imaging studies
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Educate patients on preventive care, treatment options, and disease management
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care
Stay current with advancements and best practices in gastroenterology
Participate in continuing medical education and clinical research as appropriate
Qualification
Required
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology
Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship program
Active medical license in Oregon or eligibility to obtain licensure
Proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and ethical medical practice
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
