FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST
NAVWAR is seeking a Financial Management Analyst to support the financial management of the organization's programs and administrative operations. The role involves budget administration, developing budgetary policies, and analyzing costs and benefits of financial management methods.

Responsibilities
You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration
You will develop, determine and interpret budgetary policies and practices
You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of the organization's programs and administrative operations
You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets and provide advice on methods of acquisition and use of funds to support organization
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program
New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check
Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment
This is a bargaining unit position
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing a variety of budget functions involving the formulation, execution, and/or analysis of budgets for substantive programs and support activities and having detailed, intensive knowledge of policies, precedents, goals, objectives, regulations
Completion of Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree (Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.)
3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree (Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.)
LL.M., if related (Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.)
