Employee Relations Business Partner (Remote)
TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, seeking an Employee Relations Business Partner to provide expert guidance across an assigned portfolio. The role involves managing complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and partnering with business leaders and stakeholders to support effective employee relations strategies.

Responsibilities
Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on employee relations matters
Provide guidance on misconduct, corrective action, performance management, leaves of absence, accommodations, workplace conflict, harassment and discrimination, and adjudication
Perform intake, assessment, investigation, root‑cause analysis, and risk mitigation for employee relations issues
Manage high‑risk ER matters, including legal case management, human rights investigations, and workforce transformation initiatives
Review, negotiate, and authorize separation agreements within prescribed authority limits
Support severance activities, redeployment, reductions in force, and employment transitions
Develop, maintain, and document ER processes, controls, reports, and dashboards
Monitor legislative changes and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
Educate and coach managers on ER practices, HR policies, and labor regulations
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support change initiatives and ER programs
Ensure fair, consistent, and compliant application of employee relations policies
Maintain audit‑ready documentation and governance artifacts
Qualification
Required
5–7+ years of Employee Relations experience
Post‑secondary degree in a related field or equivalent experience
HR designation preferred
Strong knowledge of employment law, ER governance, and compliance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and influencing skills
Ability to manage complex, sensitive matters independently
Data‑driven decision‑making mindset
Preferred
Experience drafting policies and procedures
Bilingualism
Experience supporting large, regulated organizations
