Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service with a warm and positive phone greeting for patients
Register patients and update their demographics and insurance data in the electronic health records system
Confirm the accuracy of patient information advising on necessary documentation updates
Ensure all required forms, consents, and documents are completed prior to appointments
Verify patient eligibility and benefits
Offer personal knowledge on products and services
Fulfill end-of-day operational responsibilities
Attend and complete department and clinical meetings and trainings as scheduled
Adhere to and enforce all HIPAA and OSHA compliance laws and regulations
Adhere to OnePeak Medical's policies and procedures, as outlined in the employee handbook and policies
Perform additional responsibilities as required in support of OnePeak Medical
Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to meet business needs
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent – required
6 months of customer service experience – required
Preferred
6 months of front desk reception or scheduling experience in a medical office – strongly preferred
Prior PM/EHR experience – strongly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – strongly preferred
Computer/tech savvy –strongly preferred
Knowledge and experience with medical billing and insurance payors, including Medicare, medicaid, private insurance, and managed care programs – strongly preferred
