Responsibilities
Provide technical work supporting technicians and engineers in construction inspection, surveying, materials sampling, testing, erosion control, and construction traffic control
Perform a wide variety of standardized and non-standardized tests and assignments in compiling, analyzing, computing, editing, and processing field data
Maintain neat, legible and accurate records and reports, including computer/iPad data entry
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Survey Technology or assigned discipline from an appropriately accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Selected applicant will be expected to legally operate a motor vehicle
Safety toe shoes required
Applicants with at least two years of related experience are highly encouraged to apply
Preferred
Knowledge and understanding of general concepts, practices, and theories used in construction, construction inspection, and /or construction surveying
Experience planning, developing, scheduling, tracking and completing projects independently or with limited supervision
Experience in maintaining neat, legible and accurate records and reports, including computer/iPad data entry
Experience Working in a team environment to complete assignments
Knowledge and skill in the use of computer equipment, iPad and software
Experience in customer service and interacting with the general public
