Responsibilities
Assess daily production schedules and plan to ensure uninterrupted flow as well as fulfillment of customer delivery requirements
Coordinate the day-to-day activities of team members
Provide the necessary support, training, and troubleshooting to ensure an effective team
Prepare standardized work procedures and facilitate effective communication of procedures to affected areas
Develop training documents and facilitate training; assist in trouble shooting issues
Troubleshoot and intervene as needed to address and resolve disruptions as quickly as possible in order to maintain product flow
Establish appropriate channels of feedback to inform upstream departments of defects
Review/update completed nonconforming reports for accuracy and publish KPI metrics as assigned daily
Lead and/or participate in improvements activities
Responsible for 5s activities for assigned area
Monitor performance and provide feedback to Manager
Adhere to and promote the environmental, health & safety policies of AFL
Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2+ years of manufacturing experience
Understanding of manufacturing safety standards
Proficient user of Microsoft Outlook, Access, Word and Excel
Basic understanding of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) management systems to include general safety rules, personal protective equipment, hazard recognition, behavioral based safety, incident reporting requirements, and environmental regulations
Practical Understanding of EHS and quality systems
High School/GED OR 1+ years of manufacturing experience
Preferred
Previous manufacturing / quality related experience preferred
Oracle, QTS, and ETQ system knowledge preferred
