COMPA Industries, Inc. is searching for qualified candidates for a Work Control Planner 3 position at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). This role supports LANL’s Asset Management Programs by developing and reviewing work packages to ensure the safe and efficient execution of mission-critical infrastructure work.

Responsibilities

Develop and/or review work packages (IWDs), including:
Time, material, and labor estimates
Written step-by-step work instructions
Procedures, safety, and testing requirements
Support operations, maintenance, construction, or modification work activities within assigned facilities or areas
Perform planning duties related to mechanical, electrical, and/or roofing equipment, policies, and procedures
Resolve work restraints and ensure work packages are brought to final closure
Support program leads for RAMP, CHAMP, and LAMP within the Asset Management Programs organization
Apply Integrated Work Management principles to plan, schedule, and perform work safely and securely

Required

Candidates must have experience developing and/or reviewing work packages (IWDs), including time, material, and labor estimates, step-by-step work instructions, and safety/testing requirements
Candidates must have experience supporting maintenance, construction, or modification work activities within an operational facility environment
Candidates must meet the minimum education and experience requirement (Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination)
Demonstrated experience developing and/or reviewing work packages for facility operations, maintenance, construction, or modification activities
Experience preparing labor, material, and time estimates
Experience developing written work instructions, procedures, and safety requirements
Ability to support multidisciplinary planning efforts within an operational facility environment
US Citizenship

Preferred

Experience supporting mechanical, electrical, or roofing systems
Familiarity with resolving work restraints and driving work packages to closure
Experience working in a design-build or integrated work management environment
