Chief Administrative Officer
ASPE Atlanta is a newly established joint-venture fintech and crypto company backed by Hillhouse Capital, focused on building compliant, scalable infrastructure for digital assets. They are seeking a highly experienced Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to build and lead the company’s core administrative and governance functions, ensuring operational rigor and regulatory alignment.

Responsibilities
Establish and oversee corporate governance frameworks, policies, and internal controls
Manage board operations, executive reporting, corporate documentation, and compliance workflows
Build scalable administrative infrastructure suitable for regulated financial and crypto environments
Support regulatory readiness across U.S. federal and state jurisdictions
Coordinate with external legal counsel, auditors, and regulators
Oversee KYC/AML operational governance, internal compliance processes, and policy implementation
Build HR operations including hiring processes, compensation frameworks, performance management, and employee policies
Design organizational structures and workforce planning for a high-growth startup
Foster a high-performance, compliance-first culture
Oversee administrative finance processes, budgeting coordination, vendor management, and procurement governance
Ensure robust internal controls and operational risk management
Support audit readiness and financial compliance standards
Drive process standardization across Operations, Compliance, Finance, and Risk
Translate strategic objectives into operational execution frameworks
Build KPI systems, management reporting, and executive dashboards
Qualification
Required
12+ years of leadership experience in financial services, fintech, crypto, or regulated technology companies
Prior executive experience as CAO, COO, Chief of Staff, Head of Operations, or similar senior leadership role
Deep understanding of U.S. regulatory environments (fintech, digital assets, compliance, governance)
Strong experience building administrative and compliance infrastructure from early-stage to scale
Proven ability to work with investors, boards, regulators, and cross-border stakeholders
Excellent execution capability in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational design skills
Preferred
Experience in crypto exchanges, digital asset platforms, broker-dealers, or financial institutions
Exposure to global regulatory frameworks and cross-border operations
Prior experience in venture-backed or PE-backed high-growth companies
