Responsibilities
Provide customer service to client personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions that may require attention
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity
Monitor access points and check inbound and outbound traffic where assigned, including verifying credentials, documenting deliveries, and directing drivers and guests to appropriate areas
Complete accurate security-related reports and logs, communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and assist with investigations as directed
Qualification
Required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
