Golf Event Manager - Conference and Event Services

Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking a Golf Event Manager to facilitate comprehensive planning for corporate, social, and internal clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction primarily for Golf Events and Weddings. The role involves coordinating logistics, managing on-site events, and overseeing billing and follow-up processes.

Responsibilities

Lead the execution of booked Weddings, Golf Tournaments, and Special Events from the point of Sales turnover through to final billing
Design menus, event setups, and service details that align with the client’s unique taste, style, and brand
Act as the central liaison between management, culinary, service staff, golf professionals, accounting, and third-party vendors
Partner with internal and external rental and production companies to fulfill all client décor and audiovisual requirements
Collect and process event deposits and payments; verify that all client billing information is precise and reconciled
Maintain professional composure in high-stress situations to execute last-minute changes; ensure concise communication across all departments
Operate with a high sense of urgency, maintaining a 12–24 hour standard for all phone and email follow-ups
Attend industry events to stay current on food, beverage, and event trends, bringing fresh, innovative ideas back to the Resort

Required

Bachelor's or Associate degree in Hospitality preferred; or 2–5 years of equivalent professional experience
A minimum of 2 years in Hotel/Resort Management or the event industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Delphi (Salesforce)
Strong knowledge of food, wine, and spirits; extensive understanding of golf tournament operations
Ability to walk extensively and ascend/descend stairs as a daily routine; ability to lift 15+ lbs
Full professional proficiency in English

Spanish-speaking ability is preferred
