The IAM Lead will drive technical execution and strategic direction for IAM modernization efforts, focusing on building scalable identity services and improving integration across key systems.

Responsibilities
Translate business goals into technical requirements, conduct code/design reviews, and drive the technical implementation of IAM projects throughout the project lifecycle
Design and implement enterprise-level IAM solutions, including identity governance, authentication, and privileged access management (PAM) systems
Serve as the IAM subject-matter expert, providing technical leadership and guidance to development teams, QA, operations, and compliance personnel throughout solution delivery and ongoing operations
Ensure all critical systems and applications integrate with centralized IAM infrastructure and comply with security policies, data privacy requirements, and industry best practices
Enforce strong authentication mechanisms, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and the principle of least privilege across all digital environments
Oversee IAM system monitoring to detect anomalies and security risks, streamline IAM processes for optimal efficiency without compromising security, and perform periodic assessments to identify and recommend IAM enhancements
Act as an escalation point for IAM-related incidents and resolve complex issues promptly. Investigate and remediate IAM-related vulnerabilities, including credential misuse or privilege escalation
Qualification
Required
10 or more years of software development including at least 6 years of in-depth IAM technical/coding knowledge and working experience is required
Hands-on experience with IAM tools such as Okta, Ping Identity, CyberArk, Azure AD, or similar platforms is required
Minimum of 2-3 years of development lead experience in managing an IAM full life cycle implementation is required
Expert knowledge of industry standard IAM protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, etc.)
Experience with Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Cloud Service Models, and DevOps
Experience implementing best-in-class Identity Access Management solutions
Experience developing API's in a MuleSoft API environment
Experience leading efforts in agile/scrum environments with knowledge of project planning, staffing, and estimating in an agile software development process
Experience managing offshore teams
Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, solve them quickly
