Responsibilities
Lead logical and physical data architecture design across transactional systems, ODS, data lakes, and enterprise data warehouses
Architect and optimize cloud-based data platforms, with a strong preference for Snowflake on Azure
Drive data performance management and tuning, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
Design and oversee ETL/data integration frameworks supporting both analytical and operational reporting needs
Partner with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver robust reporting architectures (operational and analytical)
Provide technical leadership for system migrations, including large-scale on-prem to cloud transformations
Establish data standards, best practices, and governance aligned to enterprise architecture principles
Communicate architecture decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Qualification
Required
10+ years of hands-on data architecture experience, including transactional systems, ODS, data lakes, and data warehouses
Demonstrated expertise in logical and physical data modeling
Strong background in data platform performance tuning and optimization
Deep experience with ETL/data integration technologies and patterns
Proven knowledge of reporting architectures, supporting both analytical and operational use cases
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence across teams
Direct experience leading or supporting on-prem to cloud migrations
Preferred
Snowflake architecture and optimization experience
Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments
Familiarity with modern data governance, security, and metadata management practices
