Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a world class sales professional to manage their global customer relationship with one of the largest Consulting companies in the world. The Global Account Manager will be responsible for providing global business leadership, building and maintaining key relationships, and managing opportunities within the account while engaging with AWS senior leadership for executive sponsorships.

Responsibilities

The GAM is responsible for teaming with the customer's C-suite to build strategic relationships across the account, articulating a clear vision and generating enthusiasm, while impacting all business groups
The GAM is responsible for selling at the most strategic level within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation
The GAM works with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Solutions Architects,Partners, Support, Service teams, and Professional Services) to support customer interests
This includes dotted line responsibility for downstream sales and technical resources that may be geographically distributed

Required

Bachelor's degree, or experience in technology related sales, business development or equivalent
12+ years of technology-related sales, marketing or business development experience

Preferred

Bachelor's degree, or MBA in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
Experience in management of large, complex enterprise accounts or equivalent
Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities
Knowledge of AWS or technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)
