Emergency Management Analyst

Responsibilities

Coordinate and support Launch Emergency Operations Center (LEOC) activities, including response activation and system setup during incidents
Develop and facilitate Table Top Exercises (TTX) and Emergency Management Exercises (EME) to maintain readiness and evaluate response capabilities
Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of emergency plans, checklists, and standard operating procedures, including the 45th Space Wing Installation Emergency Management Plan
Collaborate with Air Force, NASA, Brevard County, and other agencies to align Emergency Management plans, policies, and procedures
Schedule and conduct training for DRF agencies and emergency coordinators, especially for hurricane preparedness and recovery operations
Perform additional tasks as directed, including participation in councils, briefings, and support for scenario development and exercise evaluation

Required

Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience
At least four (4) years in Emergency Management or a related discipline
Must hold a valid Class E Florida driver's license
Certifications including AFEMPC, AF AEROFERC, ICS 300/400, and EOC Operations
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance
No history of illegal drug use or felony convictions
Must comply with drug and alcohol-free workforce policies including random testing
Must be fluent in English—able to read, write, speak, and comprehend written instructions and training materials
Honorably discharged from the Armed Services (if applicable)
Capable of working with military, federal, and local emergency management authorities
