Responsibilities
Perform research and write memoranda on legal issues impacting Avnet
Assist in drafting and editing of all forms of commercial agreements and templates
Assist the Legal team and outside counsel on pending litigation matters including responding to subpoenas, participating in depositions, production of documents and e-discovery, and reviewing pleadings
Actively participate in meetings with members of the Legal team and Senior Management
Conduct presentations to lawyers and to non-lawyers
Qualification
Required
Applicants for this position must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S
Completion of first year of a law degree program required
Must be available for full-time seasonal work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday from May 18 to August 7, 2026
Selected candidate must provide their own housing, internet access, and transportation
Preferred
Completion of second year of a law degree program preferred
Interest or background in technology or commercial matters is preferred
