Metal Bond Technician C -2nd shift

Responsibilities
Form and lay-up parts and assemblies like fiberglass, graphite, metal, and Kevlar using specifications, blueprints, and instructions
Prepare metal parts and assemblies for the oven or curing process through sequential lay-up methods
Choose proper holding fixtures, bonding materials, bleeders, and bagging materials; fit and align parts in sequence
Apply adhesives to bond, trim and seal bleeder and bag, and ensure uniform vacuum pressure by checking for leaks and proper seals
Ensure proper care is taken to avoid contamination of part surfaces from dust or other agents
Move tools and parts to and from ovens, cut away bagging materials, and remove excess material or tape
Use measuring devices, hand tools, and power tools as required
Qualification
Required
A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is required
Willingness to learn new skillsets
