The role involves assisting the purchasing team with procurement tasks, managing purchase orders, and providing support for quotes and bids. This position offers an opportunity to gain real-world experience while working on various data entry and purchasing projects.

Responsibilities
Assist the purchasing team with the procurement of components, materials, supplies and equipment for factory operation, consistent with quality and delivery expectations
Assist in the management of open purchase orders, including regular professional communication with SEL’s suppliers
Provide support for the assurance of on time delivery of procured material by assisting in the management of purchase order confirmations, expedites and past due purchase orders
Assist the purchasing team with department objectives and projects
Provide support for the issue and review of quotes and bids
Qualification
Required
You are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or management information systems
You have an understanding of electronics technology, manufacturing methods, and total quality processes
Possess strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Can learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Have the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Have background check results satisfactory to SEL
Have negative drug test result(s)
