Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic technical advisor to the US Government, helping oversee the creation and execution of advanced government-funded research and development programs in microelectronics
Leverage technical expertise to support senior DoD decision-makers with the strategic evaluation of new concepts and assessments of technological gaps
Provide recommendations on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs through preparing in-depth analyses, conducting background research, traveling to research and development facilities, and interfacing with the research and development community
Work closely with government clients to track and evaluate the progress of sponsored research and communicate technical findings to a wide audience

Qualification

Required

10+ years of experience in microelectronics hardware technologies, including artificial intelligence or quantum computing hardware
Experience developing materials or processes for artificial intelligence microelectronics
Experience with technical communication
Knowledge of how to optimize hardware to execute target software algorithms
Knowledge of computing architectures that integrate traditional graphics processing units with next generation computing, such as quantum computing
Knowledge of advanced computing processes or error correction
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree

Preferred

Experience with precision measurement or quantum measurement
Experience with designing, fabricating, or testing chip-scale devices or circuits
Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication tools and processes
Doctorate degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering
