Purchasing Material Control Associate

Responsibilities

Respond to purchase request generated by repair demands
Identify suppliers
Maintain warehouse inventory / perform daily cycle counts and annual inventory count
Maintain a clean and efficient warehouse operation
Create purchase orders in computer system
Maintain manual and computerized procurement records
Resolve shipment quality/quantity discrepancies
Maintain warehouse inventory / perform daily cycle counts and annual inventory count
Maintain a clean and efficient warehouse operation
Facilitate inspections, substitutions, and standardization of material needed
Deliver parts, equipment and material to location by arranging shipping as required
Expedite material deliveries as required

Qualification

Ordering industrial equipmentInterpreting blueprintsMicrosoft ExcelMicrosoft WordCommunication SkillsOrganizational Skills

Required

A minimum of 2 (two) years of experience ordering industrial equipment and supplies based on specified requirements

Preferred

Ability to interpret blueprints is a plus
Knowledge of basic computer software (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
Good Communication Skills
Strong Organizational Skills
