Legal Executive Assistant (Onsite)
Colony Brands, Inc. is seeking a Legal Executive Assistant to support their Legal Department and contribute to the organization's success. This role involves providing high-level administrative support to the legal team, ensuring documentation integrity, and fostering strong relationships both internally and externally.

Responsibilities
Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and providing general administrative support to the Legal team
Preparing, proofreading, formatting, and organizing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
Assisting with contract lifecycle management, including routing, tracking, filing, and maintaining version control
Supporting trademark, copyright, and intellectual property filings by gathering documentation and maintaining records
Maintaining accurate business and legal files, including digital document management systems
Assisting with regulatory filings, corporate governance documentation, and compliance‑related recordkeeping
Coordinating communication with external parties such as outside counsel, regulatory bodies, and business partners
Conducting basic legal or factual research under attorney direction
Monitoring changes in key areas of law and assisting attorneys with staying current on legislative updates
Supporting onboarding and daily tasks of the department’s Legal Assistant (if applicable) and serving as a resource for administrative processes
Modeling Colony Brands’ Core Values and representing the Legal team with professionalism and confidentiality
Qualification
Required
3+ years of administrative, legal assistant, or executive assistant experience—preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
High level of integrity and commitment to ethical business practices
Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Preferred
Experience supporting attorneys or legal teams
Familiarity with legal terminology, document formats, or contract management
Working knowledge of data privacy or security principles
Experience in retail, credit, e‑commerce, or similar industries
Prior experience with corporate governance
