Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the U.S. E&S claims operation, ensuring consistent, compliant, and high-quality claim handling across all jurisdictions and lines of business
Define and execute claims strategy aligned with business objectives, including reserving discipline, expense control, litigation management, and loss mitigation initiatives
Partner with underwriting, actuarial, and executive leadership to share insights on loss trends, coverage considerations, and portfolio performance, while managing outside counsel and third-party vendors
Qualification
Required
12+ years of experience handling complex commercial E&S claims
7+ years in a leadership or people-management role within primary and excess markets
Preferred
JD or legal background strongly preferred but not required
