Summer 2026 Science Internship – International Program
Earthjustice is the nation's leading environmental law organization, dedicated to protecting health, preserving wildlife, and combating climate change. The International Program is seeking a summer 2026 science intern to work with staff scientists on analyzing scientific knowledge for legal challenges to fossil fuel projects.

Responsibilities
Conduct discrete research for administrative comments and appeals, litigation, and campaign materials on energy projects and regulations
Draft broader, long-term research memos on key emerging technical, economic, and/or policy issues within the energy transition
Qualification
Required
Was enrolled in a graduate environmental science (or related field) studies program during spring 2026 and will continue enrollment in the program through fall 2026
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and comfort navigating and learning new tools
Outstanding research skills, including ability to conduct scientific literature reviews and basic quantitative data analyses
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information to various audiences
