Responsibilities

Collaborate with other lab members to support ongoing research projects
Conduct fly husbandry, including routine care, transfers, stock maintenance and organization of fly cultures
Assist with experimental setup, data collection, analysis and presentation of research findings
Maintain lab equipment and research supplies, including routine upkeep, ordering, pickup and distribution
Perform related duties and responsiblities as needed to support efficient laboratory operations

Qualification

Drosophila experienceMolecular biology techniquesData analysis PythonData analysis RConfocal microscopyWet-lab techniques

Required

Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or related field
Prior hands-on laboratory experience working with Drosophila
Familiarity with basic wet-lab techniques (e.g. pipetting, sterile technique)

Preferred

Experience in molecular biology techniques
Basic coding or data analysis experience (e.g., Python, R)
Confocal or fluorescence microscopy experience
