Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of advanced HVAC systems, driving innovation, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness
Oversee component selection, ensuring components meet strict performance, reliability, and regulatory requirements
Conduct and review advanced refrigeration cycle modeling, performance optimization, and failure mode evaluation
Lead system integration efforts involving mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering disciplines
Provide technical leadership in interpreting and developing electrical diagrams, control logic, and system architectures
Guide cross-functional teams and collaborate directly with customers and external partners to define requirements and deliver top-tier solutions
Oversee and direct product testing, validation, and troubleshooting efforts
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical direction and design oversight
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
7-10+ years of progressive experience in HVAC system design, refrigeration systems, or related advanced engineering roles
Expert knowledge of refrigeration cycles, thermodynamics, airside systems, and component functionality
Strong command of electrical diagrams, controls integration, and system-wide engineering
Proven ability to lead complex design projects and deliver results under demanding timelines
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Advanced CAD proficiency
Significant experience with large commercial HVAC, industrial refrigeration, or data center cooling systems
Strong background in product testing, system troubleshooting, and design validation
